NS Frauenschaft Leader's Badge - Orts Level - Type 2 (Ref. EN278)

The NS Frauenschaft or Nazi Women's League, operated across the Reich, and at every level of society, be it local, district, province or state.

The badge has a blue inner border (denoting Orts (Local) Level) and a silver outer border (denoting Leader status). It measures approx. 32.5mm x 31mm.

JR Cone (in his work, "One People, One Reich") describes the badge as a Type II (1934 - 1938) badge.

The reverse of the badge features the RZM mark and the manufacturer's code number, "46".

Condition: The badge shows period wear; however, in my opinion, it has a certain charm because of this. £44
