HJ Membership Ausweis with Traditions Triangle Authorisation (Ref. DOC078)

HJ Membership Ausweis for a member of Gebiet Kaernten (Carinthia) who had joined the HJ in 1931. The Ausweis is important in that it features the authorisation stamp allowing wear of the District Triangle with Gold Traditions bar.

Wear of the Traditions bar was authorized for members of HJ units existing prior to Hitlers accession to power in Jan. 1933, thereby indicating that they were members of a "Traditions Unit".

The Ausweis is ex. Philip Baker collection (author of the "Youth led by Youth" series of books).

Condition: Good condition; main fold of Ausweis have small splits top and bottom. £80
