Waffen-SS Cuffband - 'Osttuerkischer Waffen-Verband Der SS' - Bevo (Ref. CCI083) The division was comprised for the greater part by Germans living outside of the Reich, particularly Hungary. Comprised of Russian volunteers from Turkestan, the Crimea, Idel-Ural and Azerbaijan, what was the Ostmanische SS-Division, became, in July 1944, the Osttuerkischer Waffen-Verband Der SS. The example offered for sale, is the Bevo machine-woven version for enlisted men. It is 435mm long, unmarked and with unsewn ends. Condition: Near mint (small stain to the right of the SS runes - barely visible), unissued (incidentally, although most definitely produced, it would appear (based on photographic evidence) that the cuffband was never issued). £350 |
